The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control is establishing a 600-member national reserve of pharmacists. The reserve aims to extend regulatory enforcement beyond NAFDAC's traditional offices and respond quickly to fake-drug and public-health emergencies across Nigeria. The agency's Resident Media Consultant, Sayo Akintola, disclosed this in a statement about the inauguration of the Pharmacists Reserve.
