The team scored four goals in the first 27 minutes, with Ramotalahi Kareem opening from the penalty spot in the 17th minute and Rebecca Adegbemile adding a second two minutes later. Janet Seimeyeha Akekoromowei scored in the 23rd minute, and Kareem completed her hat-trick in the 64th minute. The win is Nigeria's biggest ever at the tournament, and they finished second in Group F.
