The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has announced that mobile network operators have deployed 8,526 out of 12,179 committed coverage and capacity sites across Nigeria. This represents about 70 per cent of the commitments, up from approximately 5,000 sites reported previously. The progress was noted at the commission's 110th board meeting on September 9, amid ongoing fibre cut disruptions.
