Adamawa Mourns Elder Statesman, Bamanga Tukur

Adamawa State is in mourning following the death of elder statesman Alhaji Bamanga Tukur, who died in Abuja on Saturday at the age of 90, just three days before his 91st birthday. Tukur was a former Governor of the defunct Gongola State and a prominent figure in Nigeria's political and business circles. His remains were received at the Lamido Aliyu Mustapha International Airport in Yola by Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, government officials, and family members. A funeral ceremony was held in Yola, attended by political leaders, business figures, and traditional institutions.
