Olalekan Ajagungbade, an ally of Governor Ademola Adeleke, was shot dead in Osun State. He was reportedly lured to a motor park in Ile-Ife for a meeting and shot in the head. The killing is linked to a struggle for control of motor parks in the state. Governor Adeleke has directed the Osun State Police Command to track and arrest those involved, ordered the immediate vacation of motor parks by warring groups, and established a Park Management System.
