Armed bandits abducted six imams traveling along the Dakko-Damri feeder road in Bakura Local Government Area of Zamfara State. The clerics were on their way to Talata Mafara on Saturday when gunmen intercepted their vehicle at about 11:30 a.m. The Zamfara State Police spokesperson, Yazid Abubakar, confirmed the incident and stated that the assailants were armed with sophisticated weapons.
