Akwa Ibom State Governor Umo Eno has denied any rift with his predecessor, Udom Emmanuel, ahead of the 2027 general elections. The denial follows allegations by the African Democratic Congress (ADC) governorship candidate, Senator John James Akpanudoehe, who accused Governor Eno of using the anti-graft agency to harass Emmanuel. Governor Eno made the clarification while addressing journalists in Uyo after flagging off his campaign. He described the allegations as false.
