Gunmen abducted six Islamic clerics along the Dakko-Damri feeder road in Bakura Local Government Area, Zamfara State, on Saturday. The clerics were traveling to Talata Mafara when their vehicle was intercepted by armed bandits around 11:30 am. The police, in collaboration with other security agencies, have commenced a search operation to rescue the victims and apprehend the perpetrators. The victims were identified as Imams.
