The Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project has asked the Independent National Electoral Commission to account for over N126.46 billion in public funds. SERAP gave INEC a seven-day ultimatum to provide the explanation, citing the Auditor-General's 2023 report which allegedly flagged the funds as mismanaged. The request is part of efforts to promote accountability in the management of public resources.
