Values, Not Titles, Will Shape Nigeria’s Future, NIPSS D‑G Tells Senior Officers

The Director-General of the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), Prof. Ayo Omotayo, has called on senior public officers and security personnel to prioritise national interest over personal or sectional considerations. Speaking at the National Values and Leadership Course (Batch 7) in Kuru, Jos, Omotayo, represented by Prof. Musa Umar, said Nigeria's progress depends on leaders who embody integrity and ethical conviction. He stressed that leadership must be rooted in values, not titles, and urged leaders to rise above ethnic suspicion and reject impunity. The event was organised by the National Orientation Agency (NOA) in partnership with Tomruk iHub Multiverse and DAFUDA.
