Former President Chief Olusegun Obasanjo has mourned the passing of former National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Alhaji Bamanga Tukur, who died a few days before his 91st birthday. In a statement issued in Abeokuta, Ogun State, Obasanjo described Tukur as a patriot whose life was a testament to patriotism, unwavering commitment, and stellar public service. Obasanjo noted that throughout his long career spanning governance, international business, and political leadership, Tukur carried himself with an unmistakable sense of duty. The tribute was titled 'Tribute To A Colossus Of Public Service And Industrial Development: Alhaji Bamanga Tukur'.
