NAMA clarifies N7.58bn Lagos ILS, blames recurrent failures

The Nigeria Airspace Management Agency (NAMA) has clarified the circumstances surrounding the removal of the Category III Instrument Landing System (CAT III ILS) at Lagos airport. NAMA stated that the removal was due to safety concerns and recurrent technical failures, not abandonment. The agency explained that the equipment had been problematic and required attention.
