2027: Northern lecturers endorse Tinubu

Over 600 senior academics from public universities in Northern Nigeria have endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term. The endorsement was made during a meeting convened by the Special Adviser to the President on Political Matters, Ibrahim Masari, at the Umaru Musa Yar’Adua Centre in Kaduna. The meeting was initially closed to journalists but later allowed them to witness the reading of the communiqué. Attendees included Governors Uba Sani of Kaduna, Dauda Lawal of Zamfara, Mai Mala Buni of Yobe, Babagana Zulum of Borno, and Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe, as well as Ministers Bello Matawalle and Muttaqha R.
