Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has urged residents to report any suspicious movements or individuals in their areas to security agencies without delay. The appeal followed reports of planned terrorist attacks on places of worship in the state, with the governor calling on the public to alert security agencies to the influx of strange faces, especially across border communities. Adeleke said residents must provide the police and other security agencies with intelligence reports on noticeable threats, and commended the Department of State Service for taking proactive measures to counter the threats. He also charged other security agencies to review the situation and develop an action plan to strengthen security.
