Nigeria produced 1.5m barrels of crude oil in August

Nigeria produced 1,677,777 barrels of crude oil and condensate per day in August 2026, representing a 0.4% increase from July. In strict crude oil terms, production stood at 1,500,190 barrels per day, meeting the country's OPEC quota for the fourth consecutive month. The lowest daily crude oil and condensate production was 1.64 million barrels per day, while the highest was 1.71 million barrels per day. According to the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission, Bonny Terminal accounted for 320.04 thousand barrels per day, Forcados Terminal 317.40 thousand barrels per day, Qua Iboe Terminal 171.72 thousand barrels per day, and Escravos Oil Terminal 131.71 thousand barrels per day.
