Sun King, an off-grid solar energy company, has expanded its solar inverter offerings in Nigeria with new PowerHub systems and the launch of PowerFreeze, a solar-powered refrigeration solution designed to address unreliable electricity and rising energy costs. The products were unveiled in Lagos on Friday, September 11, 2026, at an event attended by customers, partners, and government representatives. The expansion increases Sun King's PowerHub portfolio from the existing 2.2kVA and 3.3kVA systems to a range of 2.2kVA to 30kVA, including new capacities of 5kVA, 10kVA, 15kVA, and 30kVA, targeting households, businesses, schools, healthcare facilities, and light industrial users. According to the company, the systems are scalable, allowing customers to increase inverter capacity, battery storage, and solar panels as their energy requirements grow without replacing existing installations.
