The National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) has endorsed Zamfara State Governor Dauda Lawal for a second term in office, citing his administration's achievements in infrastructure and the transport sector. The union also presented Lawal with an Award of Excellence at the Dome Pavilion, Government House, Gusau. The NURTW delegation was led by its Board Chairman, Dr Najeem Usman Yasin, and included National President Musiliu Ayinde Akinsanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo. Governor Lawal described the endorsement as a demonstration of the positive relationship between his administration and the transport sector.
