Zamfara State Governor Dauda Lawal has graduated 500 youths trained in various vocational skills at the Vocational Training Centre in Damba, Gusau. The graduates completed training in different vocational fields as part of the state government's efforts to equip residents with skills for employment and self-reliance. A statement by the Director-General, Media and Communication, Nuhu Salihu Anka, said the programme was designed to create opportunities for youths and other members of society to secure jobs or establish small-scale businesses. Governor Lawal described vocational training as an important tool for tackling unemployment and promoting self-reliance among youths.
