A concerned citizen from Eti-Osa Local Government Area, Ismaila Alimi, has alleged that Lagos State Government officials are obstructing a Federal Government Task Force responsible for recovering and protecting Federal landed properties along the Lagos Coastal Road. In a statement dated September 10, 2026, Alimi claimed that officials acting under Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu's direction moved to intimidate and undermine the task force personnel. He specifically mentioned CSP Shola Jejeloye of the Lagos State Rapid Response Squad and CSP Tayo Akerele. Alimi is seeking President Bola Tinubu's intervention over the alleged obstruction.
