Northern Igbo Group Backs Tinubu, Tells Nigerians To Shun Division, Bitterness

A group known as the Igbo Political Movement in 19 Northern States and the Federal Capital Territory has endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term. The group called on Nigerians to shun division and politics of bitterness. According to the group's director-general, John Amaechi Onwe, the decision to support the All Progressives Congress (APC) and President Tinubu followed a thorough review of the last three years of his administration and consultations with various stakeholders across the northern states and Abuja. The group pledged to mobilise voters for APC candidates in governorship and legislative positions in all northern states.
