The Nigeria Aquatics Federation has selected 35 swimming coaches for an International Olympic Committee Solidarity Swimming Coaches Course scheduled for Lagos from 15 to 20 September 2026. The six-day programme, organised under the IOC Olympic Solidarity programme in collaboration with the Nigerian Olympic Committee and NAqF, aims to strengthen Nigeria's swimming coaching structure. The course will equip coaches with modern technical knowledge and international best practices. It is expected to enhance the development pathway for young Nigerian swimmers aiming for continental, Commonwealth, Olympic, and world competitions.
