Bandits attacked villages around Kuyello Ward in Birnin Gwari Local Government Area of Kaduna State on Sunday morning, killing five farmers. A resident, Mohamed, said the attack occurred between the Dunya and Shado communities while farmers were working. The bandits did not abduct anyone or destroy property, and the attack lasted about two hours without resistance. The incident forced some farmers to flee the area amid fears of further attacks.
