Isa, Wunti, Irune, Iledare, Katagum Lead Nigeria's Return to World Energy Council

Nigeria has rejoined the World Energy Council as a Member Committee, with its governing board inaugurated in Abuja on 7 August. The committee is chaired by Abdulrazaq Isa, co-founder of Waltersmith Petroman Oil Limited, and Bala Wunti, formerly Chief HSE Officer at NNPC Limited, serves as CEO. The board includes figures from policy, academia, energy institutions, and private enterprise. Nigeria first joined the World Energy Council in April 1960, months before independence.
