A chieftain has stated that the attacks on the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Enugu State could have implications for President Bola Tinubu's 2027 re-election bid. The attacks occurred on Saturday, 12 September, when hoodlums disrupted separate meetings held in Ndiuno-Obuoffia and Agbani Communities within Nkanu West Local Government Area. The chieftain's comments suggest that the incidents may affect political dynamics in the state ahead of the next general elections.
