The Niger Delta Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Trade, Mines and Agriculture has named the governments of the nine Niger Delta states, the Niger Delta Development Commission and other bodies as critical development partners in building a sustainable regional investment ecosystem. Chamber Chairman Idaere Gogo Ogan made the statement in Port Harcourt during a pre-summit briefing ahead of the Niger Delta Economic and Investment Summit scheduled for September 15 to 17, 2026. The summit, themed 'Driving Investment, Innovation and Industrial Growth in the Niger Delta,' is positioned as a private-sector-led platform to attract investments and unlock the region's economic potential. Ogan said the objective is to bring together the nine states, the Federal Government, the NDDC and the organised private sector.
