At least 13 persons were killed in separate attacks on communities in Jos South, Mangu and Riyom Local Government Areas of Plateau State on Sunday night. Nine of the victims were passengers travelling to Jos when suspected terrorists opened fire on their vehicle at Dungus community in Jos South Local Government Area, while other victims were killed in separate attacks in Mangu and Riyom. Rwang Tengwong, spokesman of the Berom Youth Moulders, confirmed the Dungus attack, saying it happened around 9.40 p.m. and that among those killed was a member of Operation Rainbow, with some passengers sustaining injuries.
