The Gambian Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Abdoulie Jobe, has called for increased Nigerian visitation to The Gambia for both business and leisure. He made the appeal during an evening with tourism stakeholders in Nigeria at the 22nd Akwaaba Travel Market in Lagos. Jobe emphasized the deep historical, cultural, and people-to-people ties between the two nations, stating that tourism can strengthen these foundations and lead to greater economic opportunities. He assured that The Gambia is ready to welcome Nigerians and work with them as a strategic tourism partner.
