Troops have rescued eight persons and arrested six members of the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) in offensives in Borno and Adamawa states. An operational report made available on Monday indicated that the operations also led to the arrest of suspected terrorist logistics suppliers and collaborators. Additionally, the operations disrupted Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) and led to the arrest of illegal miners.
