President Patrick Herminie of Seychelles witnessed the handover of three containerised desalination plants donated by the United Arab Emirates. The plants, valued at approximately USD 2.5 million, will add 3,000 cubic metres of daily water production capacity, enhancing Seychelles' resilience to water shortages. This delivery follows the President's first overseas mission to the UAE shortly after taking office, where water security was a key priority.
