The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) enrolled 2,296 applicants in the first six days of its Special Passport Intervention Exercise in the United Kingdom. The Manchester Centre recorded 1,709 enrolments, while the London Centre had 587. Daily enrolment figures ranged from 245 to 429 between September 7 and 12, 2026. Passport production and dispatch for those enrolled have commenced and are progressing steadily.
