Domestic Airlines Delay 60% Of August Flights – NCAA

The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) reported that domestic airlines delayed 59.9 per cent of their flights in August 2026, with 4,765 delays and 36 cancellations. Fifteen carriers operated 7,961 flights during the month. Air Peace recorded the highest number of delayed flights at 1,330 out of 1,864, while United Nigeria Airlines had the highest delay rate at 76.6 per cent and the most cancellations with eight. Enugu Air followed with 582 delays out of 878 flights.
