The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) headquarters in Abuja was placed under tight security on Monday as a joint delegation of FIFA and the Confederation of African Football (CAF) began consultations on the crisis in Nigerian football. The delegation visited the NFF secretariat for talks with management and Congress members ahead of a stakeholders' meeting at the Abuja Continental Hotel. More than 20 security operatives from the Department of State Services and the Nigeria Police Force were deployed around the NFF headquarters. Several stakeholders were reportedly prevented from gaining access to the complex during the visit.
