Barcelona winger Lamine Yamal believes he deserves to win the 2026 Ballon d'Or after a trophy-laden year with his club and the Spanish national team. In an interview with Movistar Plus, the 19-year-old said he and Kylian Mbappe are the two best players in the world. Yamal played a key role as Barcelona retained the La Liga title and helped Spain win the World Cup this summer. He had adopted a more measured stance at a press conference last Tuesday, stating he believed he had a chance of winning the award.
