A new working paper has found that meetings are the strongest predictor of wage growth among various workplace activities. The study examined the relationship between workday activities and wage growth. Harvard economist David Deming, a co-author, noted that companies with more meetings tend to be growing. However, correlation does not imply causation, so attending more meetings does not guarantee a raise.
