The Labour Party (LP) has disowned its former spokesperson who sued the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) over Peter Obi's credentials. The former spokesperson claimed he requested a certified true copy of Obi's certificate number D000198, a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy issued in 1984, under the Freedom of Information Act, but UNN refused. The LP's disavowal comes amid legal action over the credentials of the party's 2023 presidential candidate.
