According to the government, there are seven things IRCC employees will never demand from immigrants, including depositing money into a personal bank account and making urgent payments. Newcomers should be suspicious of anyone claiming to represent the Canadian government who provides a personal bank account for payment or rushes them into paying fees immediately.
