Former governor of old Anambra State, Jim Nwobodo, has filed a N20 billion libel suit against Lagos businessman Basil Ogbuanu. The suit was filed before an Enugu High Court and is accompanied by a 20-paragraph affidavit, a 20-paragraph statement of claim, and other documents. Nwobodo recounted that the matter began over the sale of a piece of land in an estate he bought in 1976. He claimed that Ogbuanu failed to comply with the conditionalities attached to the deal.
