The Nigerian government is targeting the activation of at least 200 telecommunications towers in unconnected communities across the country by December. Additionally, there are plans to launch a new satellite to extend coverage beyond areas currently served by fibre infrastructure. The initiative aims to improve connectivity in underserved regions.
