Former West Ham Goalkeeper Ludek Miklosko Dies At 64

Former West Ham United and Czech international goalkeeper Ludek Miklosko has died at the age of 64, five years after being diagnosed with cancer. West Ham, an English Championship club, confirmed his death on Monday and described him as a club legend. Miklosko joined West Ham from Banik Ostrava in 1990 and made nearly 400 appearances over seven years, playing a key role in the club's promotions to the English top flight in 1991 and 1993. After retiring, he returned as goalkeeping coach. In December 2024, he revealed he had chosen to discontinue further cancer treatment to "live a normal life."
