Emirates reported that it carried over 8.6 million passengers between July and August, with arrivals into Dubai on the airline in the second half of August up 7% compared to the same period in 2025. The airline has retrofitted 104 aircraft to date, offers Premium Economy on 137 aircraft, and has taken delivery of 18 aircraft since January, with six more A350s expected before year-end and Helsinki joining the network on 1 October. Product investments include the launch of the industry's first U-dream headrest for Economy Class and Premium Economy seats with privacy dividers, as well as a new generation Emirates Lounge. Winter demand is already tracking ahead of last year in South Africa, Egypt, and Ghana, with new A350 deployments to Uganda and South Africa reinforcing Emirates' growing footprint across Africa.
