The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has announced plans to adopt a crowdfunding system to finance its activities ahead of the 2027 general elections. The party's National Publicity Secretary, Osa Director, said the initiative aims to prevent wealthy individuals from dominating the party through large donations. Director explained that the funding structure would allow members and supporters to contribute according to their financial capacity, giving ordinary Nigerians a stake in the party's running.
