The Benin-Asaba Expressway Concession Company Limited (BAECC) has appealed to motorists and communities along the 125-kilometre highway for patience as it prepares to accelerate permanent construction works. CEO Samuel Daramola acknowledged the inconvenience caused by ongoing construction, compounded by persistent rainfall and the challenge of reconstructing a heavily travelled road while keeping it open to traffic. He said the company is committed to delivering the project and is minimising hardship through palliative measures while advancing the permanent reconstruction.
