2027: Yari-Led APC Campaign Council Seeks Sultan’s Blessing For Tinubu’s Re-election Bid

Senator Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar, Director-General of the All Progressives Congress (APC) 2027 Presidential Campaign Council, led a delegation to the Sultanate Council in Sokoto to seek royal blessings for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's re-election bid. The delegation included Governors Nasir Idris of Kebbi, Ahmad Aliyu of Sokoto, and Dauda Lawal of Zamfara. Yari said the visit marked the start of nationwide mobilisation and was informed by the traditional institution's role in promoting peace and unity. The move signals the beginning of APC's campaign activities for the 2027 elections.
