The incident occurred on Friday, September 11, at a security blockade along Abak Road when a car carrying a family was stopped for a routine search. According to witnesses, a brawl ensued over an alleged bribe demand, leading the officer to pull the trigger and injure the child. The child is currently receiving medical treatment, and the police commissioner has called for strict disciplinary action against personnel who misuse their firearms.
