Students from all state-owned universities in Ondo State have given Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa a 14-day ultimatum to address the demands of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) and other sister unions currently on strike. The students, under the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Ondo State Chapter, protested the two-month industrial action in Akure. NANS chairman Mayomi Adeboye made the declaration on Monday while addressing journalists. The students converged in Akure to protest and are demanding that the government attend to the unions' demands.
