The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Edo State Command, has destroyed five cannabis farms and arrested three suspected drug traffickers. The agency recovered significant quantities of psychotropic substances, including tramadol, codeine cough syrup, and diazepam, as well as charms and knives. The state commander, Mitchell Ofoyeju, said the destroyed plantations measured 2.269668 hectares, with an estimated yield of 5,674.17kg of cannabis. Two farms were located at Monday Camp, Usen Forest, in Ovia South West Local Government Area, and two at Igwe-Oke Forest in Owan East Local Government Area.
