Primate Ndukuba has described the late Obafemi Awolowo as a leader who lived for others and set an example for Nigerian leaders. Drawing a parallel between Awolowo's life and Jesus Christ, Ndukuba said Christ demonstrated that leadership is rooted in service and sacrifice. The statement was made during a dinner held in his honour by the Obafemi Awolowo family in Ikenne, Ogun State.
