Several close allies and associates of former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai have left him in ICPC custody and returned to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC). The group, including former Chief of Staff Bashir Saidu, former Senator Abdu Kwari, and former Commissioner Jafaru Sani, announced their support for Governor Uba Sani's second term bid. They left the African Democratic Congress (ADC) with over 150,000 registered members, according to Jafaru Sani. Sani said the ICPC has blocked channels to reach El-Rufai before their departure from ADC.
