Suspected Boko Haram terrorists attacked Bitirhuya community in Hong Local Government Area of Adamawa State, killing four residents and burning many houses. The attack occurred between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Sunday, with the assailants arriving on motorcycles and shooting sporadically. This incident came barely a week after 12 people were killed in Nzangola village, Gombi Local Government Area. The Chairman of Hong Local Government Council, Hon. Aliyu Sa'ad Yerima Hong, confirmed the attack, commiserated with the bereaved families, and assured residents of government efforts to improve security.
