The Nigerian Independent System Operator (NISO) has intensified efforts to enhance the stability and reliability of the national grid. Investments in advanced control systems, real-time monitoring technology, and new national control centres are part of the strategy. NISO Managing Director Bello Mohammed disclosed this at a staff town hall, highlighting progress in grid integrity and a recent synchronisation test with 14 other African countries as a key milestone.
